On December 19, 2019, the “Creating Endless Possibilities of Chips-2019 Excellent Chinese Chip Summit & Presentation Ceremony” was held in Shenzhen, at which the assessment results of the 2019 excellent Chinese chips were announced. As a core IoT security chip supplier in the industry, CEC Huada Electronic Design Co., Ltd. (“HED”) was awarded the “2019 Prize of IC Design Enterprise with Innovative Spirit”.

The assessment event of the 2019 Chinese chip enterprises with tremendous strength was jointly organized by the Xinshiye, a new media platform of the semiconductor and electronic information industry chain, and by its WeChat official account platforms including Xinwen, Zhijia Weilai, Global IoT Observation and Robot Civilization. In this event, the Chinese chip enterprises with remarkable capability were selected from the whole industry. The assessment results were decided through online rating/voting by 400,000 engineers and rating/voting by 40 experts.
HED has been engaged in the research, development, production and sales of security chips for 20 years. While continuously conducting research in the smart card chip field and proactively deploying the IoT security chips, it keeps launching new products and promoting innovative applications to provide high-quality IC for the market and industry.
HED is committed to technological innovations. By now, it has applied for 1,250 patents in total and has been granted 472 patents. HED provides process-based serialized security chips and application system solutions, including security chips and security SDK of the host computer. Also, HED has made breakthroughs in the IoV applications by virtue of its high reliable and vehicle-standard chips, which have been widely applied in the IoV projects implementing “China VI Vehicle Emission Standards”, such as Beiqi Foton and Shaanxi Heavy Duty Automobile. HED provides information security solutions and establishes security application solutions between the device and the cloud. To be specific, it has connected to Alibaba, Tencent and operators, and obtained the product qualifications issued by Alibaba and Tencent. Furthermore, it has established a strategic IoT partnership with China Unicom and China Telecom, safeguarding the security for applications. In terms of business model, it also continues to establish multi-level cooperation relationships, and jointly develops a safe NB module and a safe WIFI module with its partners to facilitate carrying out and implementing the safe IoT solutions for IoT equipment manufacturers.
In the IoT security field, HED has delivered tens of millions of chips, which have been used in smart home, smart security, smart metering, smart transportation, IoV, etc. From 2018 to 2019, HED won the “Prize of Most Influential Enterprise in IoT Security” granted by China IoT Industry Application Alliance for two consecutive years; and in October 2019, HED was awarded the “Chinese Chip Market Performance Product Prize” by China Electronics and Information Industry Development Research Institute. For years to come, HED will innovate more IoT security products and solutions to meet this ever-increasing market and industry demand.
